Well I got this a few months ago on the credit card hoping to find a way to afford it, but to no avail.

It's in perfect shape. The snot blob isn't even yellow. I bought it from guitar center with no case, but I have a case that I'll throw in.

$1900

Very nice, Damon. I can relate to the tuition payments, although the pain is almost over for me. It's being replaced by the trips that SWMBO wants to take before I retire, so that I won't ever be able to retire.

I spent the afternoon racking my brain to figure a way to pay for it. I'd have to sell a couple assault rifles, but I don't think I could do it as fast as it looks like he needs the cash.

I like the blankee' too. Looks like one of those Marilyn Monroe shots.

I'll take the M1A1. You'll have to disguise it in an old Ovation case to get it through California customs though.

FLYSIG: I sold all my Garands to raise money for guitars. They just sound better than guns.

M1A1 (M-14) and a FN-FAL, both .308. ... I'd trade the both of 'em for THIS guitar. :D

But assault rifles don't seem to be very popular nowadays on or near campuses. Back to guitars ...

That's one sweet guitar there Damon!

I'd sell my 1881 to get this one, but I wouldn't be able to make up the difference cash-wise since we just bought a brand new car.

I had to sell my 8-month old Celebrity Deluxe years ago to pay my tuition bill. I'm sure it wasn't nearly as heart-breaking as this is.

Best of luck to you Damon.

Beautiful guitar. And since nobody else asked and I'm obviously in the dark here: what part is the 'snot blob'?

If I'm not mistaken the snot blob is the spray-on pickguard they put on the treble side to help keep scratches down. After awhile it ages into this gross yellowy-green "snot" color.
