The star of the collection is the original Program from 1966 Autographed by Josh White from the first evening Ovation introduced there guitars to the world. The balladeer model was introduced by a group called "The Balladeers".Also, the original invitations from Ovation guitars to potential dealers is another rare item. There are two invitations in original envelope. Another very nice iem is an original songbook by Josh White from 1956 Next is a couple of blue prints from Ovation. One is a deacon and the other is a neck for 1621/1121

For what it's worth, I'm not a profiteer and only bought this to enjoy and share with others. Wow, I could only dream that an opportunity like this would ever come around.

He has done more work archiving Ovation information than anyone I know and deserves to have copies of this info to make it available to all. Thank you from all of us.

And I also thank you so much for sharing with Jerome anything he may not already have...he has done more for the furthering and preservation of Ovation/Adamas/Kaman history than anyone I know. Again, let me say thank you from all of us! I have a nice little collection started but its the guitars I was most interested in first...and its taken me a while to accomplish that (not that I'm finished... ) Now, how are those two great guitars sounding these days?

I've got a scanner on my desk and plan on sending copies of whatever Jérôme doesn't have as soon as I can. Originally posted by MusicMishka: Mike, Now, how are those two great guitars sounding these days? You'll be happy to hear that the 47RI is the ONLY guitar I play anymore. The fact that both both the 1111-4 and 2008-5 are at the MS for service could have something to do with that. ;) I sent my 1111 in to have the neck reset and they discovered the neck block had failed. Being an almost 40 year old guitar, it sounds amazing and the top is perfect, so I bit-the-bullet and told them to replace the neck (1 3/4"). My brand new 08C arrived with a gap between the heal of the neck and the body, so I shipped it back as soon as the guys got back from Christmas break. All I have to fall back on is the 47RI I got from you. :D

I'll be very happy to update the site with all the scans that you will be kind enough to send me. I'm so late with updating the site but I'll work hard in the next weeks. Thanks again. J :)
