This guitar was built in 1995 and is absolutely spotless other than some minor fretwear. The finish is great. The action is great. The sound is marvelous. You name it! It has a fresh set of strings and is perfectly ready to be the BEST gigging guitar you've ever picked up! It comes with its hard shell case which has some markings on it but is perfectly sound and closes/latches securely. The buckles and hinges show zero corrosion. The interior is just fine. You will not be disappointed in this guitar. Feel free to ask questions. I'm asking $850 shipped in the continental U.S. I'll ship overseas but ask for a quote first. Thanks for looking everyone. And keep your eyes peeled for more to come. You'll find a couple more pics besides the ones below RIGHT HERE. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have to ship two guitars before I leave, and I would love to make it three. Get in touch quick, I will have sporadic internet access at best for the next week.

Beautiful guitar Patch, I hope you sell it! (Though I secretly am jealous over the gorgeous blue one...)

My understanding was that you could have special ordered one w/o the coating and have natural finish. I have seen one other like yours. Although I have never seen one with your battery cover. Very nice!

Having to remove 3 screws onstage just to change a battery was not one of O's better ideas... Sorry I derailed your thread Patch. Best of luck with this beauty.

I'm still accepting offers. (No low balls, even though I can't blame folks for trying. ;) ) I'm willing to take payments over 4-6 weeks if that helps. I'm expecting a bill from John Budny any day now and need to move this along.

If you play on stage at high volumes, they are wonderful. If you're on stage and the volumes aren't that high, then do you really need them? These days, for a lot of us, this guitar is a luxury that we just can't justify. But having said that, whoever buys this one is getting one of the most beautiful Vipers I've ever seen......

I use my Viper as a lead instrument in acoustic oriented shows. They have a beautiful electric-like sustain... I believe due to the string thru body setup... that snuggles in with other piezo acoustics, but different enough to set it apart. They also lend themselves to very electric like setups. Mine plays like a 335 with X-lights. If you play on stage at high volumes, they are wonderful. If you're on stage and the volumes aren't that high, then do you really need them? Someone should step up buy this guitar so Patch can pay his bills and I don't have to keep lusting after it.
