Hello all,
I bought a 5778-4ES Elite and like it. I also have a 1777LX Legend and like it too. I need to sell one of them. What do you all think? I am having a hard time deciding. Unfotunately I need to sell the one. I think the Legend is worth more. Any advice?

Bill

I hate these kinds of questions. House is burning down, can save wife or child not both, who's it gonna be ...

Someone from the adoption agency needs to be called in. I can't believe I'm even asking this, but is the Legenmd by any chance BLACK ???

No it isn't. Transparent Burgendy. Interested?

Maybe I will sell my bass and amp instead. Maybe that would be enough. Hmmm. I haven't played that in a long while.

I think you should give me the Legend and let me keep it until either:
1. I come into a lot of money from an unexpected source like my fortune cookie said would happen; or
2. You decide you can't live without it and come and take it back (don't worry, none of my guns are loaded and my dog sounds a lot worse than she is).
Noah has a red Custom Legend he adopted that needs a good home like mine already, but I can't seem to justify it.

The bass is a limited edition SX Jazz bass. Hand made. One of 65 made world wide. Real maple top. 3 tone sunburst. Beautiful.

Amp is a Ashdown Electric Blue 15-180 combo.

Both are like new.

Wow Mark! This is so nice of you. What a guy? But I would have to say thanks, but no thanks. That doesn't help me out at all.

Keep the Elite and kiss the Legend goodbye. The bass sounds like a keeper if you would play it. If you DON'T....well, maybe it should go.

I am going to try and keep both and if need be sell the bass and amp. I am going to A/B the Legend and Elite tomorrow at church. So I can do both plugged in and not plugged in. That might shine light on what I might do.

Keep a diary. Whichever one you play less at the end of the month goes. Regardless of price.

I thought The Council voted and he was tagged as HWMUA (Who-moo-uh or How-mwah)? Were you the dissenting vote?

I hadn't thought about prices yet. It sells for $349 new at American Musical Supply. That is where I bought it. I would think $300 would be fair. It is like new. Been sitting in church for the past 6 months. Used it 2X. I have the origanal box. What do you think?
