All too many years, Labor Day was just that...

This 'un, I'll be watching the topics ... and grilling!

Here's to those that protect, produce, entertain (Thanx OFC) and make this the greatest nation on the face of the Earth!

Leaving in a bit to go work on the roof of the cabin. I took a rest from golf for awhile. The more I play the worse I get. That doesn't mean I'll play any better after the layoff. I'll just have a better excuse.

muzza,

There was no ill intent in my comment; just a heart felt and honest personal opinion. I knew that there might be some that would not agree, but so be it.

Hopefully you can feel the same of your fellow citizens. I, for one, will gladly celebrate with you and yours during an Aussie holiday of the same nature!

Took today OFF & made it a 4Day-er . . .

Spent this afternoon on a boat on Lake Hopatcong (biggest lake in NJ), just got done watching the Stones' "Shine A Light".
Tomorrow, grill/par-tay at keyboardist's house.

So-Fah, SoGood . . .

We celebrate the Labor Day the 1st of May here and is very common to take the family to the beach or go for a pic-nic.
Concerts are normally organized even in small villages to entertain people. No way to stay at home.
So enjoy your Labor day and stay safe !

Went to a free concert in Laga di Como when we were in Italy. It was in the square just outside our hotel and was quite a professional affair. Don't often get that quality for free.

That's true. Nowday it became very common that (on special occasion) local authority invite pro musician or national stars to perform for free (W Italia !!). That was a privilege of big city only .... but, you know, thing change ..... and we enjoy nice concerts ;)

I'm that guy that many people know. That guy who knows something about computers. I have 3 computers sitting on the floor here at the home office. So that is how I'm going to spend at least some of my weekend. Getting peoples computers up and running.

Those kinda flicks always seem to make it around at least one more time on the IMAX screens so you might still have a chance.

I'm going to hang out here at the shop. We still have tourists in town and they want to spend their money. I'll be more than happy to accommodate them.

The really bad golfer went to the course today. Maybe tomorrow a better one will show up. Good thing it's a three day tournament.

Brad,

Give a cheer for the Tigers for me. They've been 'my' team since the 60's.

(My other favorite team is who ever is playing the Yankees, so it's a double win for me)

Brad
