AL had #11 still when I bought mine. I echo your thoughts on the RI's, I've played them all as well and find each to be their own flavor of ice cream. Both the A1 & A2 are very true to their namesakes. The UTE is my favorite because of the wide neck and low end thump. The #47 RI is the cream of the crop and doesn't even fit in the same context as the others. I'm sooooo jealous of your trip abroad, wish I could have been there too :p

Joined: December 2005 Posts: 1234 Location: Tidal Mudflats of Virginia | That's what I like so much about the 14 fret vice the 12 fret bodies. With the 14 frets, I can reach up into the octive first position chords shapes (did that make sense?). I can octive shift a first position D chord to the 14th fret position and change up a chord progression in a song and still have it "sound" correct. Any music theory experts out there help explain this better...since I'm still in the learning mode.

We're playing Brian T. and Slipkid's stage guitars (Legend LX and an AD2). Btw, Brian I thought your Legend LX was AWESOME. Thanks for letting me play it. Dave
