Joined: August 2005 Posts: 616 Location: cincinnati, ohio | Hmmm. I still wear my flannels with the sleeves intact, but rolled up, unbuttoned with a black pocket tee underneath. Gives you that Neil Young "Godfather of Grunge" look. Of course, unlike Neil, I am built somewhat like a Sumo wrestler, so the effect isn't as striking. Anyway, I have a soft cotton washcloth I use to wipe down my strings at the end of the night. Think I'll get another one for the tuners.

The best car restorer/detailer I know uses old towels that have been washed so much that they can be easily torn by hand. Old 100% cotton T shirts work well, too. I have lots of those.
