Okay, I'll give, that one's mine! :D :D :D :D :D After only 5 months of waiting, strained patience, and MASSIVE GAS cramps, it's coming home next week. That's a shot at the dealer's showroom today, where it just arrived. From the pics, it looks like it was done EXACTLY to my specs, including the coolest, wildest piece of Koa they could find (and did!). The best news is that this baby was an incredible deal, and by waiting I even got some of the particulars that I was told by others weren't available, such as the wild Koa top. I hear they can do others like this now... ;) Here's the complete specs: Custom Legend 12-string C759LX-FKOA Contour cutaway bowl Rosewood fingerboard w/abalone inlays Walnut headstock, carved walnut bridge, Koa TRC Figured Koa top, abalone inlay on rosette & body binding Pro-Studio preamp w/XLR Gold tuners, pearloid buttons, gold Strap-locks And a partrige in a pear tree... Anyone else drooling yet? ;) BTW, Woody, this one WILL be traveling to CMS this year...

No black anywhere on the body except the rosette (which come to think of it I should have asked about). The whole idea was to have the rich, natural wood tones rather than anything too dark to distract from the richness of the koa. I was hoping that they'd pick up a piece for the top that was this awesome. Couldn't have asked for better! Thanks all for your kind words (though who would argue anyway?). Of course there will be more pics and a SIGNIFICANT review when I get it on Monday. :D

He just transferred it, since I for one would buy that from him in 1/2 a heartbeat, for what he paid for it. That is a sweet looking 12 string. I can only wonder at the tone. the factory has done it again...those guys and gals do nice work when they are not goofing off... congrats andrew...peace mike
