Joined: August 2006 Posts: 2804 Location: ranson,wva | hey thanks!!! my skills are somewhat limited by the tools i have since i my workshop was robbed last month. i did all the work on it with a few hand tools i had left..excato knife,2 peices of ply for the clamping surface and alot of sanding!! the hardest part was getting the cruve just right where the lip is.. i think they came with walnut on the headstock but i couldnt find a peice of walnut veneer that looked right. i used some nice mahog..thanks jason | ||

Joined: August 2006 Posts: 2804 Location: ranson,wva | i paid $50 for it,veneer was $20,.ive got $70 and probly like a total 0f 20hrs in to it to date. the most time consuming prosess was filling the top cracks...scrape,clean,glue,wet sand,repeat as needed.... i may add a 2knob preamp to this one...who knows. i was gonna sell it but i strung it today and it plays like a dream..jason | ||
