Without going into any detail, post your favorite strings you've used. Not looking for reviews, just a poll on what the OFC board favortie string is. I'll start.....

I'm with Jeff. And Jeff, I've gone back to the regular Elixirs from the phos/bronze.....

What do you have on your FD14 now? I'm finding that everything sounds too crashy on it. I'm thinking of trying silk & steel, but I'm open to suggestions.

For many, many years I used only the Martin Marquis. Now I'm using Elixirs on my AD-II and UTE. I'll use up my stock of Martins on the trekker and balladeer.
Yep...they do last longer. Plenty long enough to justify the price.

Free. If not free, then either Daddarios or Dean Markleys.

I've used D'Ad EJ16s for years on my Ovations, but more recently, I've been going with Elixer nanoweb 80/20 lights. Gives 'em a little more ring than the phos/bronze D'Ad's. On my Martins, I like tha Martin SP phos/bronze lights, though I may try some Elixers on them too. For electric, I'm not picky as to brand, just gauge (10s).
