I know it was originally issued on vinyl and probably on 2 lp's but I was looking for it forever and finally they released it a few years ago. Get it, the arrangements are sometimes simple but very well done it is John Fahey at his best. If you are a fan of good finger style guitar you will love it, if you are a fan of christmas music you will love it, it you love guitar you will love it

I've also got a Liona Boyd xmas CD that is really nice. But to be honest, I would have to say my favorite guitar instrumental xmas CD is Navidad by our very own Serge Lara. Dave

Years ago, I was making a compilation tape of some Christmas music for our store and I used Fahey's version of "Carol of the Bells". He plays it a bit "dirge-like". To pick things up a bit, I recorded it at 45rpm's instead of the 33. If you have the LP version, try it. It sounds REALLY cool! I'd found a CD of it years ago, but it's probably in the ex's collection. I need t'search for a new one.

Wore out the record but I found it on CD a couple of years ago. In all places to find it, Staples.

My wife plays Christmas CDs constantly from Thanksgiving on, but Navidad is the only one I enjoy listening to. I like their interpretations of all the old standards.
