Location: Scotland | That's an early one, looks in great shape. Anyone else noticed how the headstock shape on the early guitars was pretty inconsistent?
He probably wont get his reserve, but in reality he should and then some. |

Paul T, I don't know about that. Mandolin Bros just told me my '68 GC Deluxe Balladeer #1 was worth a ballpark price if $500, although I suspect that if it was on their wall they would be asking a tad more.

Location: SoCal | There is a tremendous lack of respect for Ovation from the "establishment", ie, Mando Bros and Gruhn. They'll never change. To them, the world consists of Martin and Gibson, and a bunch of upstarts like Taylor and Larivee. F*&k em. |

Location: Scotland | Interesting that Mandolin Brothers valued your guitar at $500 yet they had an early balladeer in stock a while ago at around $3K. These early guitars should be fetching at least $1.5K, but the market says different. Their time will come. |

On the other hand Geooorrggge has never liked the plastic guitars but has been more fair and consistant with the pricing. |
