Music wise, what did you get for Christmas?
Besides the really nice email from a friend, I got a beautiful Levy's guitar strap from my son.

I got a really nice Levy's strap too!

And the Paul Westerberg "Folker" CD. My youngest son bought me a travel alarm clock. :)

Still hoping for the call home from my son who is a Marine recruit ... not so much for me, but it would mean the world to lady stonebobbo and nothing I could get her could compare to that.

Danged if I didn't get nothing music related for the holidays. Odd, too, as I know there were some on my list (the Jack Zucker jazz guitar book, various Aebersold play alongs, etc.). Huh, hadn't really thought about it, though.

Stonebobo and the Missus...here's hoping you get that call! And when you do talk to him, tell him thanks.

I'm getting Sergio's new CD, but it is in the mail.

Good luck on hearing from your son, Mr & Mrs Stonebobo, and if you do tell him we on the OMC are thankful for his willingness to protect our country.

Merry Christmas

The "Book Elite" that was last listed on the "bay" came to live with us. I pulled all the stops out for this one. You see 30 years of "bliss" is this August... This is the 30th LTD.

All she did was shake her head... I guess I didn't have to "insult" her...

I have "plans" to take it to the Mother Ship for some loving. If, and if, and if... This might become a special one. I will give details of the face lift... IF....

Son # 2 got the "new" Gibson GA-5 amp. Great little amp for school. Son # 3 got his 21" Sabian Rock Ride... "This is the same as Chad Smith"...

So Santa did show up big. Lot's of noise, ah, music going on... You only live once then...

Woz

PS: Stony... I have fingers crossed for that call.
PSS: Willard, good to hear from you... 05 will be your year!

Thaks all for the kind thoughts ... alas, no call from the pfc to lady stonebobbo. This was the first Christmas when all the chicks were not in the nest, and I guess even though we get old we still have episodes of growing up. lady stonebobbo was philosophic tho' -- "I guess the Marines is not like the Boy Scouts" sez she. Sometimes the right thing is not the easy thing.

I got more power tools!

I also got more friends, more peace, more understanding of where to go next! Got an email from a happy guy in a retirement home with a new guitar!

My Wife says she'll keep me! I'm OK with that.

Thank you all for listening. Come January 1, it all starts over!

Peace

John Lennon Acoustic. Very nice pictures of John sitting with an Ovation in his lap front and back. A great CD with a couple of favorites (Ovation and Lennon).

Santa came a few weeks early on some of these but checked our list for:

New 6751 12 string Standard Balladeer
Our "bible" "THE" BOOK "History of Ovation" by Carter
New Keth Urban DVD with some killer videos
3 tickets to Keith Urban Concert, 1/30/05
Alison Krauss Live Performance dbl CD set
Bunch of new single strings to try "Alternative Tunings" on the 12 string
Found a Kalamazoo(Gibson)circa 1925 or so Mandolin in the bedroom, I forgot about and would like to set it up, for my 10 yr. old daughter...

Happy Holidays to you and yours from:
the wife, the daughter and yours truly and newest arrival... a 13 week old, 6 lb., blk/tan dachsund puppy... that melts the hearts of anyone who sees "Precious"...

2005 should be one hell of a year, in ALL respects !!!

. . got an All-Clad 3-quart sautee pan:
Solid copper bottom and sides (for even heat distribution) which are then clad in aluminum, and THEN clad (inside and out) with mirror-finished stainless steel.
Basically, the ADAMAS of cookware . . . (I'm a Happy Cooker! :-)

Oh, come on Clifford ... Lets not have any hissy fit. Now, if I had YOUR photoshop skills, well ... THEN you'd have something to be upset about! Actually, nice that Santa brought you something you obviously will enjoy. My neighbor got a such-and-such Torque Wrench. The "adamas" of torque wrenches. You should have heard him go on and on about it. I was bored out of my skull, but obviously his wife knew what would please him. Just wish my knew what would please me ...
