Mahogany neck,flame koa binding,rosewood back and sides,ebony fingerbaord http://www.ovationfanclub.com/photos/samova_58858_pic2.jpg http://www.ovationfanclub.com/photos/samova_58752_pic1.jpg http://www.ovationfanclub.com/photos/samova_58908_pic3.jpg

The theme of the guitar is all wooden adamas. The top is actually an ovation spruce top that has been sitting around(aging) for about20- 25 years.I(we) selected it from about 6 i have. This one was the best top with the streightest grain. When the luthier thumped it just right it made cool noises that he understood while i stood there scratching my head..

The 1537 Elites had wood binding, and it really set that guitar apart as far as looks. When do you expect this project guitar to be completed?
