Location: Sunshine State, Australia | OK, just to prop up Jeff and Damon's threads, how about the best 'beginnings' of songs.
One that I've always loved is Boston's 'Foreplay / Longtime'. The transition to Longtime has that 'heartbeat' building and building, then that wailing guitar riff is cued by the drums. Goose bump stuff - takes me back to another time.
Another opening that needs to be played at full volume is the Eurythmics 'Would I Lie To You' |
