However, I would like to offer the suggestion that the design be portable to a couple of different straps from the same maker. For example, a thinner or thicker leather, or maybe available on a woven material. It could be offered on a lower end strap or on a higher end fancier strap. Having an option to get a personalization, such as initials or a name, might be a nice addition that people could choose if they wanted to spend the extra dough. This way we could appeal to those who want a $40 strap and those who want a $100+ strap.

But maybe somebody (Brad!) could contact a couple strap makers to gauge their level of interest and what is practical. I would be happy to submit a couple of designs to see how people like em. AFG, glad to see your up and posting! Take it easy.

I use it on my 1537 and am getting ready to order a couple of more, but if the OFC strap is a near term deal, I'll wait. Maybe they'll give refer Brad to their source, which they claim is local.

However, if there were an OFC strap (and this has been discussed several times in the couple of years I've been here), I'd be in for at least one. It would have to have a llama on it somewhere, though. Or, alternately, if it's being made of leather, made from llama hide. ;)

I guess it would not hurt to contact a couple strap makers to see if an order for 20 or maybe 30 straps is meaningful to them or more of a pain. However I would not go beyond that without first getting the blessing of our beloved administrators. And even then it might not see the light of day. Flysig.....I think we would do best offering one kind of strap. Value will come with ease of manufacture. Knowing how much work went into the calendar, I'm glad we did not offer two versions of it.

I did not bother e-mailing them. Here are a couple links. list of strapmakers . might be the only one within budget

We create Artwork which will fit those straps. We buy the straps from pre orders made. We have the leather on the straps laser embossed with the artwork. This could be done fairly easily...once we agree on strap and art. Here's a collection of very affordable and decent quality leather Straps

I rarely play outside the backyard here (damn electrical collars anyway!) but I would be in for one for sure.
