Just ran across a guitar strap in some junk of mine. I believe I bought it sometime in the 70's when I had a 12string Custom Legend. Long since gone. Here is a pic. Thought it might be an ovation strap but am unsure. Maybe someone here can tell me.
Before you ask.. I have no idea why I would sell the guitar and keep the strap.. It was the 70's.

What a blast from the past! Had the exact one, actually wore mine out!

I don't think mine was an ovation strap?

Cool to see it again. Thanks Randy

I used to have one like that too! Had my name engraved on it. Used it on my Legend!

My wife just told me it reminded her of "The Partridge Family"... Talk about a way of making you feel older....
Still not sure though.. Is this an Ovation strap?

Not an Ovation strap.

The O straps had the leaf pattern of the rosette embroidered along it's length . .

Cliff is correct. Sir.

I think that pattern was the Ernie Ball carried brand, complete with the finish bashing buckle!

They seemed to dominate the guitar accessory market for a decade or so.

Geez Woody, just cause the guy remembers the Partridge Family is no reason to start dropping bombs like the 'S' word. A lot of us his age don't even remember the decade.

I'm still using my strap from the 70's. It looks just like it.
