| So... is it impossible to locate/buy a replacement neck for Adamas guitars now that the factory has closed or is this someone in the world who has a stack of Adamas necks in their garage?
I don't need one, but I've come across a few Adamas with messed up necks--there's a broken headstock Adamas on Ebay right now--over the past year or two and I always wonder if they could ever be brought back to life. The one on Ebay is also very scratched up.
What would it cost--estimate?--to buy a neck and have the surgery performed? |

As far as I can tell all of the Adamas necks were attached to Adamas bodies.
John B and Friends might have a neck or two at the Mini-Mother.
In some cases an Ovation neck will fit an Adamas body.
But they are not making Ovation necks any longer either.
I doubt that the new DW parts will be interchangeable with old New Hartford parts.

| Thanks, Old Man Arthur. That is about what I was figuring.
And this Mini-Mother you speak of... they are the resident O/A master luthiers? |
