Wow! Very cool. I hope she does a show near me sometime soon.

You know the Warner Theatre and Infinity Hall are both pretty close to the Ovation Factory in New Hartford CT....just sayin...

Looks like her first real show is here. Not available for sale yet.

I saw her 'masterpiece' video the other day. Is that a mirrored fretboard on her Adamas now?

They said it was white. They also said it was plastic (sigh!)

Damon, the director wanted a glossy finish on the fretboard (for the b&w digital camera), so that's what she did. I think it looks pretty good, do you?

I thought it looked pretty cool. It caught my attention, so it did the trick, right?

BTW, I was having a debate not too far back with a local acquaintance about the merits of using a bowl backed guitar vs wood for Preston Reed-ish percussive styles (He's a flat-backed wood-head). I brought up Kaki's work in defense, and to my surprise he seemed to know you.

Carl Tosten ring a bell?

Anyway, I'd love to go if I can manage to find tickets. There's another King I need to see again too, a kidnamed Justin from Oregon. I saw him open for Willie Porter a decade or so ago, and he blew my mind on his doubleneck acoustic. A highly recommended watch (Willie too)

I've known Carl for years...absolutely ace picker, singer and composer. His cd's are certainly worth checking out:
