It is absolutely gorgeous (Just look at the silking in the top!), and sounds bloody fantastic. It is basically a re-furbished 1968 slot-head 12-string. And if you've never seen one up close, the shiny bowl is SOOOOO much cooler in person than in pictures! This slot-head Pacemaker also has the direct out pre-amp that they used on the FD-14's and sounds killer plugged in! I'm told that it was totaled at some point, so the factory put the original neck on a new body built to the original '68 specs. The factory did their usual over-the-top, excellent job and this guitar will not disappoint at all! The instrument has effortless action, killer looks, and drop-dead sound! Other than a VERY, minor blemish here or there, it looks incredible! If you are more than 2 feet away, the guitar looks perfect. The 45 YO neck, while showing some age, is in rock-solid condition aesthetically and functionally. It comes with a hardshell case, and I'm asking $1250, including shipping (continental U.S.), or if you live near enough, I will consider driving to meet you instead of trusting this to the tender ministries of the USPS. If you are overseas, ask for a shipping quote first. I am open to trades, but it would have to involve something pretty nifty. Feel free to ask any questions. You will absolutely LOVE this guitar when you see it! Then you will fall in love all over again when you play it!

FWIW, when I asked John Budny what its replacement value was way back when I got it, he said a new one would run $3000. So let's try $1000 + shipping. I'll still consider trades if you have something unusual.
Talk to me folks!

If it ever has to go to eBay, the price will be much higher now. I would rather keep it of course, but I had a reason for listing it that is still hanging around.
