Patch,

I'm in Vegas (I had seen this CL post as well). PM me. This is the busy time of year (for everyone, I'm sure), but I'll do what I can.

Witko has owned one of these. He didn't have a high opinion of it. You might check with him before spending the money....

I sincerely appreciate it Brian, but I've decided to let it pass after all. But again, thank you kindly. :)

I had an MCS-148 before I finally upgraded to the MM-68 and eventually to the Book Mando. Since I primarily plug in, the Celeb served it's purpose once I set it up a little. So it would make a fine bad-weather instrument. (I like to have one in reserve for the NY winters.)

Still, I'm pretty certain I can track down another MM-68 at a good price with a little patience. But I admit to being nervous using the Book so much (weekly). I don't want to put it on display, but I don't want to wear it out either. So I'm lurking for a back-up. Sounds reasonable right?

I am coming on Usual...

I play it every week, but it's the most expensive and rare instrument I own. If I choose to be careful with it, I'm just being responsible with it. Someone almost stepped on it recently at church. I'm not sure who it frightened more, him or me.
