Hi Guy's,
I've bought a VXT-SB in May. It plays and sounds great, but I've a lot of trouble with the electronics. The battery went dead in 2 hours of playing or not. So I sent it back for repair. Now it was 3 times away and dosn't work as well.
On Tuesday, my replacement has arrived with some little changes they have made for me. It is a VXT-Deluxe in '59 Burst with Schaller "Vintage" tuners in gold and an ebony TRC. You can see it on my ning site, link below. I LOVE IT!!!!

I've owned a VXT custom since the summer of 2007 and have never had a bit of trouble with it. Electronics and workmanship are excellent. Battery life is fine. I get months of use out of it, but I'm not sure how many hours that equates to.

Thanks Brad,
I think the new one is OK, too. The battery wasn't dead when it arrived and it is still playing with it. I hope the problem now is "gone"!

Other than remember to unplug the cable when not in use, I have not had any battery issues. I love it. I've been using mine to set up my rig 'cause of all the flexibility in tone. It's just a fun guitar to play.

You are absolutely right, Miles!
I love it ,too. But the battery was dead, plugged or unplugged.
So I'm right to change it, because they don't found the ploblem. With the new one I'm really happy now.

I have truly enjoyed every VXT I've ever owned, played, butchered and traded off...

I sometimes think that a bolt on/off neck would be preferred but maybe not so much today.

Yeah, I am a bolt-on kinda guy too. (Not that there's anything wrong with the VXT, it's a really great axe, so no worries there.)
