Location: SW Washington | Okay, got my iDea and I LOVE it! But, I can find nowhere that says how much memory it has...Anyone know? And that brings up my second question... I don't suppose there is any way to expand the memory with a simm card or something like that? I noticed a set of 8 gold contacts outside the battery compartment and their purpose would be????? Anyone know? I got this off fleabay brand new for $200 and just found another place I can get one for $180 and am seriously considering getting a second one for a 'constant companion' guitar. For the price, you can't beat it! :D |

If you go to the "Reference" section at the top of this page there is a link for iDEA for Dummies
There is all kinds of info there. Dave Gallerinski created that, and I Thank Him.
The people at Ovation go there for information.
But to answer one question, up in the upper right hand corner of the screen on the iDea there is a thing that will tell you how much memory your got as well as how your battery is doing...

If you search around on iDEA for Dummies it will tell you that stuff.

I plug in my headphones, start a backing track and try to play along. I can not hear the guitar in the headphones, is this correct or am I doing something wrong.
Works fine through an amp and could go through an amp and then the headphones but that seems so wrong. |

Location: SW Washington | Great info! Thanks gang! If there is no slot for a simm card like my camera and MP3 player have...perhaps that is an idea someone in development would like to consider for future evolutions of this module? Would be super cool if I could slip an 8 gig simm into it! |
