| I haven't played one of these in years. Be interesting to hear the difference between a cedar top and the spanish pine top, like the this one..ebay# 200051930691 |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I asked a question about the difference and found out that Spanish pine is another term for cedar. I don't know why Ovation distinguished between the 2 and gave them separate model numbers. There's probably not enough of a difference to convince SWMBO that I need another one. |

And not to be confused with Redwood, which is related to Cedar. |

Location: Central Massachusetts | wow, that is a good BIN. his last BIN was $1100 and the bidding peaked at $815. maybe 3rd time is a charm for him. $900 is not bad for this great-sounding guitar. link |

| ..learn something new every day..I didn't know spanish pine and cedar wood were the same..but, a comprhensive list of softwoods and hardwoods can be informative if not confusing. Some cedar woods are considered soft woods and some are hard woods. Here's a list..
