Blue Breadwinner on the bay

I don't know.. it just bothers me thst the description immediately states "all original" then at the end, which many people may not have read and bid, it states that it's a refin.. what a shame because I like the early versions with the output jack on the rim like this.

Did this bother anyone else or am I stuck up? LOL

Yes, it was a mistake to say it's in original condition. The headstock has been repaired and repainted and the body repainted. It doesn't bother me as much, though, since it's all spelled out. Before bidding, a bidder needs to read every word of the auction. Anyone who doesn't is a fool.

I believe the last all original Blue BW in good condition went for over $1200.

I hope it still has the bowl finish, but even if it doesn't, for a reasonable price I'm guessing it could be refinished again properly. The rest of it looks original.

Yea.. see! $510.00 makes sense kinda. Someone out there who had money burning a whole and wants to finish it right or maybe someone who never owned a Breadwinner yet got her.. so that makes sense I guess. Love those side inputters! hahaha! And the old pickups too.. very nice buy.. steep for a real collector in my humble opinion but great entry level price and a steal for that situation. MJK

on the plus side-that makes one less all original blue breadwinner out of the original 50 or so, (for those that have an all original blue breadwinner I mean) :p :D ;)
