I'm sure you can get some sound advice here. There's a nice Triple Threat on TGP I was eyeing. It's supposed to be one heck of a guitar.

This would be a terrific way to become introduced to Hamer. The Earthen maple wood has an interesting history. If my recollection is accurate, I think the maple logs were found submerged in mud which created the special colored grains on the top. Very beautiful.
