Hello everybody, i have for sale my 2005 Legend 1651 LTD. Somewhat rare model. I guess it is called the John Lennon model. Has a beautiful AAA sitka spruce top and rare nutmeg color. For a great description and specs on it go to the ovationgallery.com and check it out. Everything works as it should and guitar is in excellent condition. 2 small dings in top and one small ding on peghead. 8.5 out of 10. Has OHSC in very good condition. I can email pics if you are interested. Will trade for a US made Ovation 12 string deep bowl Non cutaway. Let me know what you have. Or asking 575.00 shipped in the lower 48 states. Thanks

One of the very best guitars to ever come out of New Hartford. Just outstanding in every way. Congratulations to whoever gets this. I think there were only 6 of these made available to the US market and around a hundred total.

Although neck-heavy, the originals weren't too bad, either. Mine served my needs exclusively for over 20 years. Now it spends most of its time on the hanger, but it will stay in the family forever.

It would be interesting to find out if it was an FRG (nothing wrong with that). When I was offered mine, it was a demo but the others that the factory then "found" were actually FRG's.

Mine was "adopted" which to me means that it is available to sell but it sure won't go that cheap.

As I said before, the JL3 was a custom order model in germany through the former distributor Musik Meyer. There were a few available in the shops in the old world. Slightly different to the original 100, for example Pings instead of Schallers, LX neck shape and so on. One of those can be seen HERE!

In fact the best wood top Ovation I own. Charlie Ramon is my witness!

Best regards,
Kurt
