On on the base side from the bottom about 3" long. Then 2 small ones on either side of the bridge. Of course it could have happened during shipping I guess. I emailed him we will see what he has to say. PLus they said it was unused and there is fret wear. Not a lot. Not sure how that can happen if it is unsed.

So it must have happened during shipping. My loss I guess. But she sounds sweet. Just anoying that she has these booboo's now. Bill

Whenever I have a guitar shipped in, I bring the box in, and let it sit for a while, then take the case out and let that sit for a while, then crack the case and let it sit. It's several hours before I actually get to touch the guitar. A major PITA and demanding of some serious patience, true. But, I've never had a problem with finish cracks due to temperature. Sorry to hear it has issues. The fret wear is interesting. Best of luck with it. If it plays well and sounds great, who cares how it looks. :)

Maybe I did it to soon and it is my fault. That makes me feel even worse. Inormally wait 3 hours at least. Well chalk it up to lesson learned. I will never forget it now that I have some visuals to remind me. Yes she sounds great so I will still use her and enjoy her and try to forget I damaged her.

Those are CLASSIC finish stress cracks that usually take months to appear in well seasoned wood (unless you set it front of the wood stove) Were the strings backed off when you received it? That bridge crack is really suspicious...

Don't roll over and think that you had anything to do with them. This is america, damn it and the other guy is guilty of misrepresentation. So what if you were driving drunk, it's the KIDS fault for skateboarding out in front of you. I'd tell the sell you want your money back, including return shipping fees. He'll not want to go through the hastle and offer to cut you a deal, you watch. The buyer is king. Dave

His word against mine. But for what I paid for it I got a good deal even with these. It was almost half of what Elderly sold one for last week. SO I am not upset to much. It plays and sounds great. That is what counts. I will take it to practice tomorrow night and see how she sounds plugged in.
