Since our group was on the Ovation side in the afternoon a lot of the staff was off already. And as Rick Hall pointed out to us Ovation grew into the space, so it's not really a "production line" where fiberglass, wood, abalone, paint go in one side and a guitar comes out the other. There was one employee who graciously stuck around to show us some of the things (the machine that routes the neck attachment). And I took a photo of some work being done that Rick was not talking about, so I'm not even sure what he was doing (!). And I shot up all the film I had before we got to the paint, etc. Then we could have a section on the board of a guitar from start to finish... If I try to organize them I'd probably need someone like Al, Miles, Moody or Paul T. to actually get them in sequence.

I invisioned a "virtual tour" if you will as well. If someone wants to take on the task I will send them the CD's. I was thinking the only real way to do it, is to print all of the pictures as at least little 3 x 5's and just start hacking away at it. For the result to post them I just need a simple text list of Step Number, Description, and photo name. If someone wants to add titles or other info on each photo that's fine. All I need to put it up is the list which could be text, excel spreadsheet or ms access file, and the associated photos and I can have it up in no time at all. I just never found time to sort through 400 photos.

If they want to give away another guitar I will be more than happy to take it from them. Hey, Maybe the other Michael Won (fret # 3) will get it this time.
