Location: Upper Left USA | The Elite Lx - Med to Lt. with just under the 5/64" at the 12th fret. I will finger style pluck and hammer.
1615 12 string is the "limbo" plan - "How low can you go"! It's a strummer. |

On a more sane note, I like mine, so thought I'd measure it... my action.. on the guitar that is.
Just under 5/64 on the bass side, uncapo'd at the first fret (ie from the nut). The nut is just a wee bit higher than I'd like, but still quite passable.
I wish my relief was a bit less... tis about .020 and it just does not go lower than .010, no matter what. Thats the end of the limit on the Kaman Bar - even with light strings. This seems to be getting worse, ie, relief is growing "by itself", so I'll probably end up sending it back for correction right before the unlimited section of the warranty is up - it ought to be pretty evident that it needs correction by then. |

Location: SoCal | Everybody's different in what they like. Sam likes low action for fingerstyle, but Chet Atkins liked it high for fingerstyle. I know that Wong likes it high for tone, and I like it in the middle for tone and playability. |
