I bought an Ovation 1860 to round out my collection for group, but need to figure out how to keep the preamp from bringing in FM through the amp. Any suggestions out there?
Thanks,
indy

My Ute does that, but only if I don't plug it in all the way. I don't recall it happening on my Crate amp, though. Just the Epiphone.

I had an old Vox Cambridge Reverb that I used in a Praise band years ago that used to broadcast CB Radio traffic from a nearby highway...nice!

I would just sit and listen, but the station mine picks up is in Spanish.

G'day Indy. I've got an 1860 but I've never had that problem with it. I'm presuming it's equipped with FET? And....welcome from downunder :)

Yes, FET3. My son asked me to stop playing, and turn to get better reception. That's not going to fly!

Do you have another amp or PA you could test this with? The RF reception could well be outboard of your guitar.
