| A few days ago I posted about sitting outside on the balcony at night in shorts and a t-shirt. Headlines in today's paper warn us to brace for "60 Consecutive Hours of Temperatures Below 50" with a predicted low here tonight of 18. Oh, well, by the weekend we'll be back in the 70's. :D |

Location: south east Michigan | With just a little sunshine, fifty degrees can still be "shorts" weather for me.
And don't get me started about the one big family trip we did to Disneyworld. We were there for six days... it rained five. And this was an all day type rain. |

| Char and I spent the weekend at Disney(Friday was our anniversary), stayed on-site at the Pop Century Resort, came home on Monday just in time to batten down the hatches for the cold, not complaining tho, considering we only get about 2 weeks of sub 50 weather per year.
It was really nice seeing the parks without children in tow. and the electric carts made seeing all we wanted a breeze... the people watching was the best part... if you think your family is weird or funny looking.... just go to a theme park, you'll feel much better about your loved ones... and be grateful that they're just the way they are...
Char's still shivering under the covers this morning... only going up to about 50 or so today.. probably a hard freeze tonight/tomorrow am, but like g8r said... should be back to normal by the weekend.
now if the red tide would just go somewhere else.

Not a big problem it will be winter this week. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | The little town of Alamosa, just to the south and west of Denver on the other side of the front range of the Rockies, hit a low of -31 a day or two ago. Of course, with the wind chill factored in, it felt a lot colder than that. We were at least 30 degrees warmer than that here in Denver. |

| Thanks g8r... I hope we have many more together.
now they're saying maybe some snow tonight. I've been here since 85, had a few hard freezes, but I've never seen snow down here...
Nahhhh.... nothing's changing with our environment
