I admit the "Mary Had a Little Lamb" kind of had me going, but a Johnny Cash song a uke! Just about makes me want to buy one, just about. :D

Update: After many long hours trying to convince myself that I needed, or didn't need a ukulele, I bought one. Granted it's not the most spectacular model of uke, but it's made in the US, right in good ol' CT. :D

It's made by Magic Fluke. It's called the "Flea", cheapest one they make, as I don't know how to play one anyway, but I'm going to learn. :D

The FLEA is great! I played a few at NAMM, Ask Moody, I kept going back to the booth and checking them out. While there I played a duet with Jumping Jim himself. Very cool time. Got some applause from the passers by. You will freaking love it !!! Dave

PS - Post some pics. And welcome to the dark side.

I think that they were applauding that you finally put it down.

I like the J Cash cartoon and also the fact that he knows me well enough to reccommend that people play one of my anthems.

Bite me.

Now that I'm back stateside I don't have to be on my good behavior anymore. Back to being a self-centered, arrogent, fat, lazy, gas-guzzeling American. And I love it. Dave

At least I know I'm not alone in this endeavor.

I figure it's only got 4 strings, how hard could it be to play.

They say it's the 3rd wave for the uke. First was the '20's, then the '50's, and now.

We'll be seeing the little buggers everywhere if this is true.

Would like to post pics, but don't have that capability right now. :(
