Got tickets yesterday to see Willie in Edmonton on June 23! :D :D :D

The last time I went to see him was in '86, and he was awesome. Really looking forward to seeing him again; he is one of my favorite artists.

Ticketmaster shows him doing some dates in the US, on what they're calling "The Legends" tour with Merle Haggard and Ray Price. Sure wish they were doing that one in Canada.

I just went to see the Last of the Breed tour at the Mohegan Sun casino here in Ct. on Weds. night. It was a really good show, Ray Price is 81 and still sings anything he wants, hit all the notes and knew all the words. Next came Asleep at the Wheel who were joined by Merle Haggard and then out came Willie Nelson. At one point everyone was on stage together. No Ovations in sight but we did get to meet Freddy Powers, an Ovation man for many years who was doing back up vocals on this tour. He got us backstage and on Merle's bus for a nice little visit. Got home at 1:10am and the alarm went off at 4:20am for work.Thursday was a long day.

Just please hand Willie a tuner while you're there. He'll be the first to tell you he has a hard time tuning Trigger. Sometimes Ole Trigger goes flatter than piss on plate by the fourth beating. :D
