So I had a strap for my "new" 1687 as wish for an xmas gift and Santa delivered! It's a gorgeous super thick and super wide suede back Levy's and is very comfortable. It's actually so big it won't even fit in the compartment of the 9185 case. I also would prefer to keep the strap on the guitar as it's a pain putting it on and off, which is no problem with my LX Legend that has a woven strap that just easily tucks into the cutaway space in the case. but the Adamas has a very snug fit in the case and no cutaway, and I just can't figure a way to fold and tuck. So I'm wondering how you guys pack the straps for your Adamas?

I use Dunlops for easy on/off, and straps are carried in the rolling gig bag, never the guitar cases.

Thank you, strap locks is a great idea. So what's a good source for the strap attachements to fit the installed buttons?

How old is your Adamas?
Newer Ovations came with Dunlop Strap-lok Dual-Design Strap buttons.
You can tell by the Large hole where the bolt attaches to the guitar.

This will get you the strap ends, but some extra buttons.

What jerks... There are other shops.
I think that Strings & Beyond recently offered Free Shipping Worldwide.
The folks in Australia were going nuts.

Yes they still have free shipping and their other xmas goodies like 15% off, BOGO etc., it's my favourite supplies store for sure. I assume this is the right one:
