First, hello and thanks for the board!

Next, I recently sent a email to Ovation to find out which of their currently made guitars are US Made, and which have the better sounds for a novice like me.

I used a applause for years and loved it, but the humidity and time have eaten it up.

My daughter is in a music roots program and it is time for her old man to go back to picking a bit. Always wanted a nicer, better made ovation with a contoured back, not full body to play but couldn't afford it until hopefully now.

Again, a novice in many aspects. The only response I got from ovation was. ... "Anything on our website priced at over 2500.00 is built here in the US. The pro series are very good guitars for the price."

Not much to go on here. Suggestions???

again, TY for listening..

Call Al Pepiak at Lost Art Vintage Guitars. He is one of this site's founders and has some still-new USA Ovations in stock that are right up your alley!

Here's a link......

Al, I will probably contact you to learn more of the Koa top. What a beauty she is. Probably following thanksgiving week, going home to make the meal for my elderly parents.

Thanks, if anyone else has suggestions please advise..

Someone must have not given you full access yet. Hold tight. The Lost Art Koa is a fantastic guitar. I love mine
