I have a kid's Applause in for repair/rescue.

Note: Aluminum frets are not the way to go...

Looking for a replacement neck before I mill this one down and cut fret slots.

Still looking.

I filed off the 1st-five fret "wires", cut new slots with a well-used hacksaw blade, then glued in new fretwires. Re-leveled the new wires, with the existing ones, and good to go for another few years of thumpin' & thrashin'.
Granted, a bit tedious. But, until I have a donated milling machine serendipitously fall on me, this is what-I-got.

Thanks Chris!
And by Milling Machine I really meant me using 100 grit on a sanding block... I am a cheap sob.

I want to bring this back to the surface and see if anyone has an Applause/Matrix/Academy neck available.

Thank you.

Still hoping to find a frugal opportunity to get this Applesauce up and running for someone.
Happy Holidays!
