Location: Upper Left USA | The preamp and pickup were/are in excellant working order. Most of the stereo pickups I've received have been less than working and soldering them back into working order is not often do-able.
No Muzza, no spray on here.
It involves multiple layers of drop on Cyano glue followed by sanding from 1500 grit to polish.
The pictures don't show the real effect. The wound is discernable but the top finish is smooth and the crack is sealed and won't continue to split.
So I now have a nice used but not abused 1537 for under $500 in the arsenal! |
