The Box Tops actually did a show at our high school in late 1968 or early 1969. Most of us had no idea how we got them, but it was outstanding.

I saw Alex at a Box Tops reunion in Los Angeles a few years back. Terrific is an understatement. Very charismatic and a loss to the music world.
