As much as I like Hamer, here's one whose purpose may be a bit limited and confusing. Cool, perhaps, but what do you do with it?

i have one. I had several at one time.
but they are similar to a 12 string guitar. but with two octave strings.
the idea is to fill the air with a trio.
big sound.

I'm sure there are those, like Al, who have "wanted to strap a piano to your chest." Personally, that never occurred to me.

I'd like one just for the novelty value.

This clip really shows this Bass in action...

The mix is a bit harsh (sounds like it's a board feed) but you can really hear the 12-sting, especially during the intro and the drum solo.

Thanks for the clips. It seems to be played more like a guitar than a bass. I can only imagine the possibilities.
