I'm very interested in finding a set of ebony buttons to fit Schaller tuners. I'd appreciate anyone with spares or pointers to possible sources getting in touch.

I have few sets in stock. Not sure if they are full size or minis, but I can get either type from the distributor within a few days. The minis appear to be ebony but are actually black plastic. They look fine but are quite prone to shattering. The full size Shaller M6 ebony buttons are ebony not plastic. I'm pretty close to you, in County Durham. You can email me from the link above.

I would LOVE real ebony mini buttons.

Anyone ever see these? I can't find 'em.

I can get them. I found a company in Germany that can make just about any shape tuner button in dozens of different materials, including exotic hardwoods, ivoroid etc. I should have some soon. I've ordered koa, walnut, rosewood, birdseye maple and ivoroid for Schaller M6 tuners.

Jeff, maybe we should put together a little order and get some from Paul. Some of those exotic wood ones would look really amazing!

Thanks Paul. I've sent a PM to you about this (full size buttons sound great!) . Judging by the comments made in another post about couriers sent by yourself, us Northern lads better look out for ourselves here! No prisoners taken it would seem :)

Paul,
I'd be in for 2 dozen real ebony mini schallers.

Stephen, if you need/want some let's just make one order (even if different woods...

I deliberately didn't order Ebony because they are readliy available, at least in full size. Their minimum quantity is 120 pieces of each type, but I've given then a pretty big order, so they might do me a favour and let me add a small number of ebony minis. I'll let you know.
