| If you zoom on the picture of the label, it clearly says 1687 - therefore NOT a wide neck (and certainly not 1679 - a never used model designation - as the listing incorrectly states). |

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I'm kinda iffy on that 7.....looks like a little downstroke on it to where it might be a 9.
Doesn't really matter....it's overseas and I'm not bidding.
Still it should be a nice one for somebody. |

Location: Scotland | This is located not far from where I used to live, and by USA standards pretty close to where I am now. I know the guy who has this. He's a dealer/collector/player rather than specfically an Ovation fan. He alway deals in high-end stuff. I met him about 10 or 12 years ago when he was selling a 9-series Taylor Jumbo, which seemed like a good idea until I heard it. Anyway, he's a good guy, and if anyone is interested the price looks like it may stay a bargain, and I'm coming out in Jan, so you could have it shipped to me and I'll bring it over. |

Location: Right now? | Yeah, I looked again and it's sure looks like the label says 1687-8 ... I hope the guitar in the photo is the guitar he's selling!
