Location: Marlton, NJ | I was browsing the guitar section of a pawn shop and came across a Custom Balladeer - 1655 twelve string. The neck, head, tuners, bridge all look to be in great shape - the body however has a few cracks - the long one appears to go through the wood... I'll have to go back with a little mirror to verify it.
Assuming that the crack does go through... what would a reasonable amount be to offer the guy? He wants $275. Obviously I can go lower than that, but how much?

My right thumb was completely split in 2 & my index finger was flayed open stem to stern. After 2 microsurgeries and 6 months of therapy I wound up with a thumb about 1/4" shorter than it used to be and my index finger won't flex closed all the way. Surprisingly I think it helped my finger picking! Sergio |
