Great ones seem to be from the 70s-80s. Any good recent ones? |

Location: California | The best one I saw recently was not done by Ovation. Have you seen the Dean Markley guitar string ad? An Ovation is in the center of the ad. I thought it was an Ovation ad ... I thought Dean Markley was part of Kaman. No, it's not ... no, it's not. |

Location: NJ | I recently saw a pair of really nice ADAMAS ads (one for CVT, the other SMT). Ironically, they were both in a British guitar mag ("Guitarist").
Recently I also saw an ad for a company (SC Technologies, HSC Technologies, I forget..) that made aftermarket under-saddle pickups for acoustic guitars. Strangely enough, the guy pictured in the ad is playing a black Ovation. |

Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | I made a real nice cardboard sign that I held out on the street corner last weekend. It said;
"Will Work for a Vintage A/E 12 String Ovation or 1537 Elite."
Everyone seemed to like the sign, especially the officer who gave me a ride back to the hospital. The staff even let me keep it on my padded wall, right next to my picture of Jack Benny. |

Location: SoCal | I bought, on ebay with a buy it now, a stack of about 20 Ovation ads from the 70' thru the 90's. I'll try to scan them when I get them and shoot them over to Miles for posting. |
