Do I remember it right that the bowls of the korean guitars are made in this country, or was I dreaming that?

Ashtabula, Ohio. My State's contribution to the sound of Ovation. There is some irony when I get my Korean doubleneck that a major piece of it was made about 115 miles from me.

Whoa!

Ashtabula, thats my old stomping ground pre 1962. I lived and worked there back when the chemical plants killed trees and the creeks ran white but not with milk.

I suspect that there might be some connection to the Corvette fibreglass body factory in Ashtabula as they were experts on that type of material and made most of the early Corvette bodies.

One of my brothers, now deceased, helped set up the production line for the Corvettes, I don't recall him mentioning Ovations but I think he left before that time.
