Let me slip in an OT Ovation sighting/warning. Watching "Commander in Chief", one of the two shows I watch, and on one of the often repeated commercials it advertised a news show about these two sweet looking young performers who, I take it, are singing songs about the Arian Nation, hate, racism, etc. Thought I saw Ovations in their hands. This won't look good!

Where's a Martin when you need one?

Part of my point is that if they hadn't plastered the commercial slots this group would never get the attention they crave.

Oscar Wilde said there is only one thing worse than people talking about you, and that's not talking about you.

If true, it's a little uncomfortable, but dammit, it's publicity! I wouldn't worry about it one bit. In any event, I never watch the show. The only show I ever make time for is Battlestar Galactica. It would be cool to see an ovation in outspace, eh?

Any publicity is good publicity. Just ask Michael Jackson. Amazing how having half our face hacked off, hanging babies off balconies and fiddling with little boys can keep your name on the front page. Dave

I also had an unfortunate Ovation sighting. I was watching one of the baseball games last week and they showed this guy outside the stadium with his face painted and no shirt playing an Ovation. It was pretty sad.

I saw it too, and mentioned it in another string....think it was an S-771.....at least they kept something on the headstock so the brand didn't show......

On Battlestar Galactica....I want to see Baltar choose between the seductive curves of an Ovation or Six......(OK, we know Six would win 101 times out of 100....)
