aloha gh1,
that's the jake shimabukuro of yesteryear!
xlnt video. roy smeck had a brand of ukuleles named after him, made by the harmony company. they had two soundholes, similar to "f" holes on a jazz guitar. they were actually "barking seals" shaped and the ukulele was pear shaped. it was called the roy smeck vita-uke.

My company markets a replica of the Roy Smeck Vita uke under our Clearwater brand name. Check Witko's website and you can see the one I gave him as a birthday gift recently.
