The thing is that I have bought recently a very beautiful Ovation electric-acoustic guitar but I can´t play it properly because the fret wires are very rubbed down and the neck wood is in bad condition............It is possible to buy a complete spare neck with fret wires?
The model is the Elite Mod. 1538 with 12 strings
Thanks in advance

I'm freaking out now! This is the second 1538 in as many days! 1538 on ebay You have a very rare bird there Rodrigo. You could send it back to the Ovation factory for a tune-up. Or you could get a refret done by a reputable luthier in your area. As far as repairing the neck, they would have to determine if it could be saved. |

| Wonder what the factory would charge him for new frets and a neck reset?...more than the cost of roundtrip air-frieght from Spain... but maybe it's worth it if it's really a 1538, seems to be quite a coincidence.. |
