The Patriot that I bought from cwk2 made it to my door today. I've been quietly stalking #76 for quite some time. I spotted an ad online for it almost a year ago, but took a while to get in position to buy it. Then cwk2 posted about it on another Patriot thread, and things eventually came together. THANK YOU KINDLY CWK2! :D :)

Anyway, the thing looks brand new except for a scuff on the bowl. No pick scratches even! Fantastic! The case is in as good a condition. The outside has done its job protecting the guitar, but the inside is...in a word...perfect! :D I've never seen a brown case in this good a shape! I haven't tuned it up yet because the strings on it look nearly as old as the guitar. But based on my other Patriot (Still for sale by the way! Look for it on the 'bay, make me an offer hear if you like.), I can't wait to hear it.

This one's a keeper. And I hope to leave it for one of my children. What a great instrument!

Saw yours on the bay, looks nice. Congrats on getting that one loose from Bill. It should be a keeper!! You need to get a pic of them both with old glory in between.

The first of the C-Series, although no one knew it at the time.

UPDATE!

I just put new Elixirs on #76. Boyoboyoboy!

Beautiful tone, serious bass, bright trebles!

Perfect intonation, and, after removing two shims, nice, low action. :D

I love this guitar! :D

Excuse me, I gotta go hyperventilate now.
