I was informed yesterday that Hand Shaved Noodles has been asked to play at the Pierce County Fair the weekend of our OFC party. Looks like It's going to be a 2 day NW Jam-Fest. I opted for a Sunday slot. The fair is in Graham, WA. It's a rural sorta place, I'm sure a fair geared very much towards livestock type events.

It should be interesting since Max isn't going to be able to make it which means no drums. It's not like we do a lot of pocket grooves and "Mustang Sally" sorta songs, so no time to get someone up to speed so... yeah.

Best thing I can think to do is go all acoustic and ask Chasen Chantz to sit in with various hand drums. Transform some of the electric stuff and see how it all sounds over the next um... week LOL. One thing's for sure, I'll be an Ovation show with J's Contour LX, Chasen's Red Flame, and a few of my own up there. We'll see how these country folk like our hippy-grunge.

Please come out to support if you happen to be anywhere near Mt Rainier.

Looks like we're competing with the 4-H Agility Demonstration. Gonna be tough to steal people away from that.

There was a band called Free Beer that played the Sydney pub circuit, back in the '80s. They always pulled a good sized crowd. I think it was there posters that did it.

Free Beer at the Hunters Hill Hotel, Friday.
